Hi, Im DeVonese ( The Voice of Southern Soul), born and raised in Pickensville/Aliceville, AL to a single mother with the help of my grandparents. Singing was a staple in our household; my grandpa formed a gospel group called the Gospel Angels and we sung all over Alabama and Mississippi.

My love for music never left, as a teenager I started to write my own songs,knowing that one day they would be heard. So as a Southern Soul Artist, I continue writing them today.

I have tried out for American Idol and The Voice, even though I wasn't chosen, I received great feedback.

In closing, that feedback lit a fire in me that I can not put out!! So just know DeVonese is here, and here to STAY!!!!!!!!!!
